Happy Thursday My Sweet Friends

It's been a while since my last post - my fibromyalgia pain into full gear and I spent a lot of time in bed.  I am feeling a little better and have really missed my Art time.  I hope you are all doing well and have had time to do a lot of creating.  




I am really stepping out of my comfort zone today in sharing this photo. My sister Dana surprised me with a set of watercolor pens yesterday and I was beyond thrilled. I have always wanted to watercolor but have always been a little intimidated by it all. Yesterday I decided to just jump in and have fun - and I was on a natural high. It took four do-overs but I wasn't about it give up. 

I still want to add some color to the background - just not sure what I want to do yet. I have so much to learn and so looking forward to the journey. I have started by using digital images but my ultimate goal is to be able to draw my own images as well as using watercolors.

    Fabulous result Laine! It looks awesome :) Love the depth of colour you've got, perfect for the stamp! :) I think you are onto a winner here, you obviously have natural skillz! :D
